What the Name Means
Cambridge Dictionary defines intertwine as “to twist or be twisted together, or to be connected so as to be difficult to separate.” That is how we work: the science and the company built around it, planned together from the first experiment, so that neither is an afterthought to the other.
In biotechnology the research, the intellectual property, the regulatory path and the funding are intertwined: a choice in one shapes the others. We keep them together, which is why the science and the company sit under one name.
Where the Name Comes From
Intertwine is the name our family of companies shares: Intertwine Associates for strategic consulting, Intertwine Bio for life science commercialization, and Intertwine Digital for software, under Intertwine LLC. Intertwine Bio has carried the name, and the address intertwinebio.com, since 2025.
What We Do
We co-build technology companies with founders and research teams: research translation, intellectual property, regulatory navigation, capital and fundraising, and research strategy and partnerships, with partner labs and contract research organizations selected and managed for each study. Our focus is regenerative medicine, gene therapy, oncology and rare diseases.
